Username
Hi Nathan, like the above post mentions, we've been discussing whether your username is in line with our username policy and I wanted to ask if you'd consider picking a new username? As Drmies mentions, Nathan Bedford Forrest is a divisive figure in American history given his racist views and actions. The concern is that your username and its associations with a white supremacist do not help build a collaborative environment which is why our username policy disallows offensive or divisive names whether explicitly or by implication. Given your work so far, we'd like to see you continue editing, and if you'd like you can request a new name for your account at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you can simply make a new one and abandon this account. — Wug·a·po·des 00:51, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
