"El mismo sol" is the debut single of Spanish singer-songwriter Álvaro Soler. The song is the lead single from Soler's debut studio album Eterno Agosto. The song was a big hit first in Italy climbing in a few weeks to the top of the Italian FIMI chart and the Italian Airplay chart. The single went double platinum in Italy and dubbed alongside OMI's song "Cheerleader" as the summer hit 2015 in Italy. It also made it to number on the Swiss Hitparade and charted all across Europe notably in France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands.

The video follows the adventures of the singer, exploring various cities and landscapes on his motorcycle or going backpack in nature or relating to various people. The scenes were shot in various locations in Andalusia, Frigiliana, Málaga, Guadix and Tabernas Desert. The lyrics convey an intense will to enjoy love and life, have fun, travel.
