The serranía de Hornocal are a mountains located 25 kilometers from the city of Humahuaca in the Argentine province of Jujuy. It is part of the limestone formation called Yacoraite that extends from Argentina (Salta) through the Argentine Quebrada de Humahuaca and then the Bolivian Altiplano to Peru. [1]
At an altitude of 4761 meters above sea level.

The Serrania del Hornocal is at east of Humahuaca Department province of Jujuy, Argentina. The information on the Serrania del Hornocal is only of the viewpoint at a distance of 25 kilometers along Provincial Route (73) and does not reach the Hornocal, the distance approximate to the Serrania del Hornocal is farther away (60 kilometers). Currently it can access on foot or by vehicle since that tidying the road.
