Patrick Joseph Lynch (KNZM QSO) is a leading New Zealand educationalist.[1] He was President of the Secondary Principles Association of New Zealand from 1992 until 1994, Headmaster of De La Salle College, Mangare East from 1978 until 1994 and then chief executive of the New Zealand Catholic Education Office from 1994 until 2015. In 2015 he was made a knight of the New Zealand order of Merit for services to education.[2]
