Kelston is a future New Zealand parliamentary electorate that will return one Member of Parliament to the House of Representatives.[1] It was created in the 2013/14 electorate boundary review, with the name coming from the Auckland suburb.[2] It covers an area in Auckland south-west of Waitemata Harbour.[1] The electorate covers part of Te Atatu, Glendene, Kelston New Lynn, Avondale, Mt Albert and Waterview. The population data used in the boundary review were from the 2013 census, and the electorate will stay in place in its initial form for the next two elections, expected to be held in 2014 and 2017.[2]
