Jasper Creek (in Spanish Quebrada de Jaspe; in the local aboriginal language Kako Parú) is the name of a river and a series of cascades and waterfalls in the South American country of Venezuela. Are located specifically in the eastern sector of Canaima National Park, in the Gran Sabana Municipality of Bolívar State in the Venezuelan Guiana region. This is a natural monument protected by the laws of that country. The name jasper is derived from the fact that the water circulating in a smooth surface of jasper, red and black, mostly.
