William Joseph Napier (1857–1925) was a Liberal Party Member of Parliament in Auckland, New Zealand.

He was born in Ireland and arrived in New Zealand when he was five years old. He was educated at St Peter's School, Auckland Grammar School and St John's College, Auckland. He was a lawyer and had many notable clients, including Sir George Grey, two rulers in Samoa, Malietoa Tanumafili I and Mata'afa Iosefo as well as the Government of Tonga.

Napier was elected to the City of Auckland multi-member electorate in 1899, but was defeated in 1902.
