Born Lyttelton November 10, 1923, later lived at Loburn. Ordained priest October 31, 1930. Appointed to Christchurch April 18, 1950, ordained bishop in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament July 16, 1950 by Archbishops McKeefre and Liston and Bishop Kavanagh. Died January 28, 1964 and buried in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament..
