Mausoleo cordobés.

The Roman mausoleum of Córdoba, located in the Jardines de la Victoria, Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain; is a funerary monument of cylinder-shaped that corresponded to a group of funrary monuments of the Republican era in the 1st century. It was discovered in 1993 during the course of a tasting archaeological, proceeding to its reconstruction following original patterns.

Preserves the chamber tomb that housed the entombed remains of the basement, cornices, and crenellated parapet. Unusual in the peninsula for its type, may have been designed by an Italic architect with reference to other mausoleums in the imperial capital and in Italy. Must have belonged to a wealthy family because of its dimensions.

This is a clear example of Roman law of build the tombs on the outskirts of the city to the sides of roads. Is located near what was the road linking Corduba with Hispalis (now Seville), [1]and left the city by the western gate or "Porta Principalis Sinistra" (old Puerta de Gallegos), which it can observe original remains of the pavement of the time in the archaeological site.
