Grey Nelson (born 1928) is a former New Zealand Public Servant and Diplomat. He spent his childhood in Auckland, in Epsom. He was educated at St peter's College where he was a foundation pupil in 1939. Nelson was Prime Minister's Private Secretary to five New Zealand Prime Ministers: Keith Holyoake, John Marshall, Norman Kirk, Robert Muldoon, and Michael Moore.[1] He also held the diplomatic position of Counsellor at the New Zealand High Commission to the United Kingdom, 1976-1980[2]
