New Tricks is a British television drama. To date, five series have been broadcast between 2003 and 2008. Series 6 has been commissioned for broadcast in 2009.
Pilot: 2003
New Tricks began as a one-off episode, first shown in March 2003, which gained enough viewers for a series.

UCOS is set up, to investigate previously unsolved crimes. The squad is headed by Det Supt Pullman, who is moved after shooting a dog in a hostage rescue gone wrong. Along with retired policemen Jack Halford, Brian Lane and Gerry Standing. Their first case emerges when Roddy Ringer is released on appeal after serving twenty years for the murder of a nightclub hostess, a crime to which he always claimed his innocence. |
